Through a consultative sales approach, you solve their business challenges by strategically positioning Cisco solutions that drive their business outcomes, reduce their complexity and risk and manage their costs.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in your local office 1-3 times per month.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute the Cisco sales strategy in your territory, successfully performing against sales targets, and elevating our market position through competitive tactics. This includes expanding Cisco investments within our base of existing accounts, while also driving new customer acquisition motions, to increase Cisco revenue and gross profit.
  • Work closely with our Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector and Telesales sales teams, along with our Operations, Marketing, and Services organizations, to position Cisco solutions based on observed marketplace demands and trends and participate in category GTM initiatives to strategically engage customers, and motivate our sales teams to generate incremental Cisco revenue.
  • Leverage strong Cisco expertise to position Softchoice‑specific Cisco offerings to customers, and support our sales teams in presenting clear Cisco value propositions to our clients, independently, and in conjunction with the appropriate supporting resources. This will include the introduction, positioning, and fulfillment of Softchoice‑WWT Cisco Assessments and strategic purchasing modalities. Experience with Cisco Enterprise Agreements, and Support (e.g., Smart Net, Success Tracks) is advantageous.
  • Provide active support of the local Cisco partnership.
  • Use consultative selling skills and engage the correct Softchoice and Cisco resources; act as the catalyst ensuring the right solution is positioned with the winning value proposition.
  • Drive a robust pipeline of Cisco Sales Opportunities.
  • Provide Pre‑Sales Support to Sales Reps & Customers on Cisco Offerings & Solutions.
  • Identify new Enterprise Agreement prospects and lead opportunities from inception through close.
  • Collaborate with sales to develop Cisco business plans for assigned accounts and foster opportunities to improve sales performance.
  • Uncover and lead strategic Assessment opportunities to provide data‑driven insights and uncover new opportunities for expansion.
  • Participate in local customer events to deliver Softchoice content.
  • Develop & deliver training to Softchoice sales teams on Cisco products.
  • Engage with local Softchoice sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts.
  • Forecast, track and analyze the bookings/pipeline of business in your territory.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • A deep understanding of Cisco products and services.
  • 3‑5+ years of sales experience (with Cisco products).
  • 1 Cisco Sales or Technical Certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer‑facing presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose!
Compensation

Base pay range:

  • NYC: $77,000 – $115,000 plus 30% Target incentives.
  • Chicago and Dallas: $70,000 – $105,000 plus 30% Target incentives.
  • Georgia: $68,000 – $99,000 plus 30% Target incentives.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
