The Specialist will maintain regular account coverage, reactivate lost business, support existing account velocity, develop new retail and on-premise placements, coordinate with distributor representatives, and ensure the brand is properly executed at the account level.
This role is ideal for a self-directed, relationship-driven sales or field marketing professional who is comfortable managing a territory, building trust with buyers and operators, and translating field activity into stronger account performance.

- Identify reorder opportunities and communicate them to account buyers and distributor representatives.
- Maintain consistent contact with priority and high-volume accounts.
- Resolve or escape execution issues that interfere with account velocity.
Market Recovery & New Business Development
- Prioritize previously active accounts that have stopped ordering and work with distributors and account partners to restore the business.
- Rebuild brand presence across Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, Fort Stewart, and the surrounding market.
- Prospect and open qualified retail and on-premise accounts with clear repeat-order potential.
- Build relationships with buyers, beverage managers, bartenders, and hospitality operators.
- Identify hotel, restaurant, cocktail-menu, and destination-account opportunities.
- Support new placements through follow-up, staff education, tastings, and account-level execution.
Distributor Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with assigned distributor sales representatives.
- Work collaboratively on reorders, new placements, inventory issues, and account follow-up.
- Participate in distributor ride‑withs and market work as required.
- Communicate account opportunities, barriers, and field intelligence quickly to management.
Tastings, Merchandising & Reporting
- Conduct approved weekend consumer tastings as scheduled.
- Educate consumers on the brand portfolio and brand story.
- Support priority accounts with tastings designed to increase trial and account velocity.
- Maintain strong visibility in assigned accounts through shelf positioning, secondary displays, menu placements, and point‑of‑sale execution.
- Identify opportunities for additional SKUs and ensure brand materials are presented professionally.
- Record account activity through the brand's designated reporting and CRM platform.
- Maintain accurate notes regarding account status, opportunities, and required follow‑up.
- Submit field activity and account intelligence on schedule and provide visibility into competitive activity and market conditions.
Qualifications
- Beverage alcohol, CPG, hospitality, retail sales, or field‑marketing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfortable independently managing a field territory and working against defined performance objectives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with retailers, buyers, bartenders, hospitality operators, and distributor representatives.
- Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable managing follow‑up across multiple accounts.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned Savannah‑area territory.
- Weekend availability for scheduled tastings and activations.
- Must meet applicable legal requirements for working with alcoholic beverage products.
