Position OverviewSecurity Officer - Aero/Defense Dispatch in Savannah, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. You will manage communications, support access control, and help to deter incidents by maintaining a strong presence and responding promptly to calls for assistance. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and provide outstanding customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment.

Job Schedule- Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Monitor and coordinate communications between security-related personnel and site staff using dispatch systems and protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities during the shift.
- Assist with the coordination of regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter by communicating with mobile personnel.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff in security-related matters by providing timely information and assistance.
- Follow all protocols for incident response, access control, and emergency communications as required by the site.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
- Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have experience with access control and/or badge systems.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
