Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Savannah, GA, serves and safeguards clients across industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, respond to situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule: Day Time
Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sun 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
- Observe and report unusual activity or incidents to Allied Universal management or client representatives as directed.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, visitors, and contractors encountered during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences as required by site policies.
- Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.
- 1+ year of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check as a condition of employment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
- Drug screening as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
