Security Officer Property Monitor

Overview

As a Security Officer Property Monitor in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM;
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM;
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to support orderly operations at the location.
• Observe conditions across the property and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a visible presence.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
