Job Schedule:- Thur: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Fri: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, helping to manage access, assist with directions, and support a professional environment for everyone on site.
- Observe and report changes in activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations while following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
- A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
