As a Security Officer – Distribution Site in SAVANNAH, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity throughout the site.

Tue 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Wed 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

Thur 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, verifying credentials when required, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations at a busy retail-related distribution location by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or unusual activity.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
