Coastal Security Services, Inc. (CSSI) has provided professional security across South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida since 2006. We staff hospitals, K-12 schools, gated residential communities, industrial sites, and major events. Every officer trains through the CSSI Training Academy, and our leadership team is in the field, not behind a desk.

We are hiring Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in the Savannah, Pooler, and Rincon, GA area, Fairfax, SC, and Jacksonville, FL. Posts include gated residential communities, industrial campuses, hotel and commercial properties, and federal facilities.

This is a standing posting. We hire continuously across our sites in this area, not for one opening. Apply once. Cleared candidates who are not placed right away stay on file and hear from us first when the next post opens.

• Control access at gates and entry points; verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity
• Serve as the professional first point of contact for everyone entering the property

Our sites run 24/7/365. Shift length and rotation vary by post (8-hour and 12-hour shifts, days, evenings, and overnights) and most posts require weekend availability. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

CSSI uses post-based pay: your hourly rate is set by the site you are assigned to. Unarmed posts in this area start at $18.00 per hour, with higher rates at select sites. Overtime is paid at 1.5x for all hours over 40 in a work week.

• 18 years of age or older
• Currently licensed or ability to obtain the security registration for the state you will work
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift
• Clear verbal and written communication

• Prior security experience
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Industrial, residential, or commercial security experience
• Prior military or law enforcement service

• Consistent full-time hours with overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 in a work week
• Training through the CSSI Training Academy at no cost to you
• Growth path into site supervisor, field coordinator, and district leadership roles
