DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.
- Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry.
- Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service.
- Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Availability for on-call hours, including weekends.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
$15 - $18 hourly
