Field Service Technician I
Location:
Athens, GA
- Hourly pay range: $17.00 to $20.83 depending on location and experience levels
- Overtime available at time and a half
- 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays

- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment like self‑checkout systems within an assigned territory
- Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls
- Local candidate in the specific geographic area
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
- Proficient PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
- Rotating shifts and weekend shifts; ability to work flexible shift schedules, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times with some holidays
- Ability to carry and lift tools and equipment up to 75 lbs without assistance or up to 150 lbs with assistance
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit and reach; repetitive grasping and manipulation of objects of varying size
- Willingness to be trained on and operate small scale scissor lifts in retail environments
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
- A+ Certification, CompTIA (N+) Certification
- At least one year of related experience
