Low Voltage Electrician Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm and security systems in commercial and industrial settings. Additionally, this role requires the completion of install work for new construction projects.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair access control, network cameras, and security systems with a minimum of 10 years of experience in installation.
- Program access control and network cameras with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Possess a clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Experience or certification in Honeywell and Hanwha CCTV systems preferred.
- Honeywell Pro-Watch Certification preferred for network cameras.
- Experience with Honeywell/Resideo systems preferred.
- Gate experience is a bonus, though not required.
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills and field leadership capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand prints and specifications.
- Basic troubleshooting skills, familiarity with tools and meters.
- Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills.
- Fill out detailed service reports and document material usage.
- Work with fire alarm systems and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
- Capable of working in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Blueprint reading.
- Fire alarm and security system expertise.
- Experience in camera installation and access control.
- Electrical diagnostics and repair.
Skills & Qualifications
- Specific industry training can lead to higher pay rates.
- Experience with Honeywell, Resideo, and Hanwha systems.
- Ability to install, repair, and work with low and high voltage systems.
- Skills in conduit, schematic reading, cable management, and power tool usage.

Work EnvironmentWork primarily in commercial and industrial settings, with exposure to the elements and construction environments. The shift is typically Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 AM most weeks, though it can vary due to project needs. Some service calls may start at 8:00 AM, while certain construction projects might begin at 6:00 AM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
