Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Suite Maintenance Specialist at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park is a premier facility with four major venues: NRG Center, NRG Stadium, NRG Astrodome, and NRG Arena. The Specialist works with the Specialty Maintenance team to perform all necessary suite repair work before and during events, ensuring client suite requirements are met and facility rules are adhered to.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tiles, door hardware repair, and correcting plumbing problems.
- Prepare surfaces—clean, sand, patch, mask—to ensure readiness for painting or refinishing.
- Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, electrostatic sprayers, and pumps.
- Interpret and apply building codes, rules, and regulations for maintenance activities.
- Label, store, and handle equipment, materials, and supplies safely.
- Record and log all work performed, complete work orders, and compile required reports promptly.
- Promote a safe working environment by following life‑safety and emergency programs.
- Operate light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and access lifts or other light power‑driven equipment.
- Enter areas where fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals may be present; work at heights with correct safety equipment.
- Develop and submit repair lists using the electronic work order system.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Accountability Manager on all premium suite work orders.
- Conduct meetings with clients on projects related to premium seating areas.
- Manage approximately 197 suites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in repair and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical installation (light bulb and fixture) and plumbing (faucet replacement).
- Ensure suites are properly caulked, sealed, and inspected.
- Complete repairs and improvements before event move‑in and maintain pre‑event checklists.
- Ability to repair electrical and plumbing issues.
- Use company-provided tools.
- Advanced carpentry techniques for cutting and repairing wood.
- Carve, assemble, and install furniture, cabinets, and shelves.
- Fabricate and install wood materials according to measurements.
- General construction knowledge for light framing, finish carpentry, sheetrock, and painting.
- Maintain a tidy, clean, and organized warehouse space.
- Create final punch lists and complete work to ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Perform touch‑up painting for all suites before events.
- Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
- Show initiative and be a solution finder.
- Good hand/eye coordination and handy skills.
- Communicate professionally with tenants.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Replace burnt‐out light bulbs, faucets, sinks, drains, toilets, and perform minor plumbing repairs.
- Caulk and grout as needed.
- Test for current, replace receptacles and GFCIs.
- Replace light fixtures, outlets, and other minor electrical work.
- Repair/install strikers, latches, hinges, doorknobs, locksets.
- Replace baseboards, door casings, and moldings.
- Install/repair cabinet doors, hinges, and fixtures.
- Clean dust and debris, including thermostat replacement.
- Patch holes, touch up, and paint suite walls.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment consistently.
- Multi‑task and prioritize workload.
- Strong knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, and appliance installation.
- Support cost‑cutting and expense‑control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts.
- Complete suite checklists prior to events and maintain all required documentation.
- Follow safety measures for forklift operation.
- Work long and irregular hours, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of maintenance/construction experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
