Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and electrical issues, maintain production equipment, and manage parts inventory for DIRTT’s aging and sheet metal production lines.
Responsibilities- Comply with and implement Health and Safety regulations in the workplace.
- Perform electrical maintenance, inspection, installation, and repair of a wide variety of CNC/automated machinery.
- Implement new machines and infrastructure, and perform and schedule preventative maintenance (PM) to production equipment.
- Read blueprints and interpret manufacturer’s drawings, schematics, and overhaul instructions.
- Maintain records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Adapt to a fast paced, ever changing manufacturing environment and communicate with cross‑functional teams.
- Work schedule:
static Sunday to Tuesday 6 AM‑6 PM and Wednesday 6 AM‑noon (31/2 on – 3 ½ off).
- 4‑6 years of experience with strong electrical and technical knowledge, including basic mechanical repair and upgrades.
- Strong controls and PLC troubleshooting experience with a safety‑first approach.
- Logical, analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems and meet deadlines consistently.
- Some technical experience with CNC and milling equipment.
- Mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining processes.
- Previous experience leading equipment maintenance projects from start to finish.
Team player with excellent people and organizational skills and the ability to work with diverse trades.
This is a safety sensitive position: pre‑employment background and drug screening will be required; applicants must be 18 years old or older.
