Hoodz of the Low country & Coastal Georgia is hiring part‑time overnight kitchen exhaust cleaning technicians. The role starts with paid training at $20 per hour and moves to a production‑based pay model after training. Experienced tradespeople from roofing, HVAC, fire suppression, painting, pipe fitting, or similar can add supplemental income without giving up their day job.

We clean and maintain exhaust systems that keep commercial kitchens from catching fire. The work occurs after kitchens close, typically starting as early as 6 p.m. on some nights and running into the early morning on longer jobs. Shifts depend on the job, not a fixed block.

You are comfortable on rooftops, on ladders, and with equipment. You can keep your primary job and add a few overnight shifts a week. Physical, hands‑on, detail‑driven work. No cubicle, no retail counter, no capped hours.

Provide availability for 2–3 nights a week two weeks in advance. We build a schedule around your availability.

• Execute kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs to Hoodz standards, completing jobs efficiently and thoroughly.
• Follow all safety protocols and NFPA 96 standards — harnesses, gloves, goggles, lockouts, every job.
• Assist with truck setup, equipment handling, and organized teardown at the end of each job.
• Complete all job documentation accurately: before/after photos, job reports, and timesheets.
• Represent Hoodz professionally at every customer site — clean uniforms, clear communication, leave every kitchen better than found.
• Communicate your availability for nights at least two weeks in advance and honor your committed schedule.

Required:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Available for 2–3 overnight shifts per week, with a schedule provided two weeks in advance.

Preferred:

• Background in a hands‑on trade — roofing, HVAC, fire suppression, painting, or pipe fitting.
• Comfortable working at heights and around heavy equipment.

No Experience Needed:

• No kitchen exhaust or hood cleaning experience — we train you from scratch.
• No college degree required.
• No trade certifications required — earned on the job.

Training (first 2–4 weeks): $20 per hour flat rate. After training you earn a percentage of each job's revenue, typically $20–$25 per hour for entry‑level technicians and $25–$35 (or more) for experienced workers.
