Position Summary
Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician.
What you’ll doSupport and oversee repair of Walmart facilities’ refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive and support repair work orders.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, and test facilities equipment to diagnose issues.
- Complete required safety and tool training.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work at heights frequently.
- 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
- Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
- Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean record; able to pass MVR.
- 18 years or older with a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a 2‑year HVAC/R program.
- Mechanical license in the city/state of the job location.

Hourly wage range: $23.00 – $45.00, plus potential premiums based on schedule or work performed. Eligible for bonus incentive.
