Aircraft Maintenance Technician II
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years on mid-to-large aircraft.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Under minimal supervision, perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems and structures while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
- Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and inspection records accurately.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Inspection, and Quality teams to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Operate ground support equipment safely, including power carts, lifts, forklifts, and tow tugs.
- Assist with aircraft movement in hangars and on ramps.
- Mentor and train less experienced technicians.
- Utilize maintenance tracking systems for labor, parts, and work order management.
- Support aircraft certification and flight test activities as required.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station procedures, and Quality Control requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in hangar and ramp environments.
- Ability to lift, climb, kneel, bend, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
- Flexibility to work overtime and varying schedules when required.
Ideal candidates are experienced A&P technicians with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and aircraft reliability.
