You arrive on site, greet the team, and get right to work—troubleshooting an electric reach truck before moving on to a gas or LP unit for a safety inspection. Every stop makes a tangible difference.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment across fuel types: gas, diesel, LP, and electric.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and thorough safety inspections.
- Use a work order platform (Service Max or similar) to document findings, parts, labor, and customer communications.
- Manage and maintain your service vehicle, tools, and on-hand parts inventory.
- Deliver a professional, customer-first experience at every visit.
- 2+ years in material handling—or backgrounds in automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment mechanics.
- Hands-on troubleshooting strength in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Comfort working independently in the field and traveling locally.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Positive, service-oriented mindset and a safety-first approach.
- Experience with Service Max or similar computerized maintenance/work order systems is a plus.
