We are seeking an experienced European Automotive Technician in Savannah, GA to join a long-established independent European specialty repair shop. This shop works exclusively on Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, with an emphasis on advanced diagnostics, major mechanical repairs, electrical work, and coding/programming. B+ Level technicians can earn $30-$35 per flagged hour (depending on experience), while A Level technicians can earn $35-$50 per flagged hour (depending on experience), with an ongoing 30-hour weekly guarantee.

This is a Monday-Friday opportunity with no weekends and paid training available.

• Diagnose customer concerns and take ownership of vehicles from initial diagnosis through completed repair
• Perform advanced electrical, drivability, and mechanical diagnostics on European vehicles
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify additional repair and maintenance needs
• Determine necessary repairs, build parts lists, and estimate technician labor time
• Perform major mechanical repairs including timing chains, head gaskets, engine repair and rebuilding, and transmission and valve-body repairs
• Diagnose and complete coding and programming-related repairs as needed
• Communicate vehicle needs, unusual findings, and repair complications clearly with the owner and office team
• Complete repairs accurately and take ownership of workmanship from start to finish

• At least 5 years of relevant automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and mechanical repair skills
• European or German vehicle experience strongly preferred, particularly with Porsche, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz
• Ability to independently diagnose vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repair recommendations
• Experience from either an independent repair shop or dealership environment
• Dealership training or manufacturer certifications are preferred
• Dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to communicate repair findings clearly with the team

• A Level Technician: approximately $35-$50 per flagged hour (depending on experience)
• B+ Level Technician: approximately $30-$35 per flagged hour (depending on experience)
• Ongoing 30-hour weekly guarantee
• Typical production of 40+ billed hours per week, with strong-producing technicians historically reaching approximately 50-60 hours
• Compensation may be reviewed after approximately 90 days based on performance

Join an established European specialty shop that has served the Savannah area for approximately 30 years. The shop focuses exclusively on Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles and handles advanced diagnostic and repair work rather than relying on high-volume maintenance.

Technicians have access to Autologic, Drive Pro, iSCAN, remote factory coding and programming capabilities, alignment equipment, and expanding lift capacity. The owner is willing to help an experienced technician continue developing advanced repair skills, and the Monday-Friday schedule provides weekends off.
