As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our operations team, ensuring the seamless functionality and safety of our infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to proactively address repairs and improve the overall efficiency of our facility environment.
About the RoleAs a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our operations team, ensuring the seamless functionality and safety of our infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to proactively address repairs and improve the overall efficiency of our facility environment.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive plumbing repairs, including valve maintenance, leak resolution, and water heater servicing to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, ranging from circuit troubleshooting to lighting fixture installations and wiring repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC/R systems to maintain optimal climate control and air quality.
- Complete general building repairs, including carpentry tasks and hardware adjustments to uphold facility standards.
- Document all maintenance activities and work orders within our CMMS platform to track performance metrics and asset history.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workspace to support operational excellence and safety compliance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in facility maintenance or building operations.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative, team‑oriented work ethic.
- Prior experience working within commercial or institutional facility environments.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC/R service and installation procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple work orders while maintaining high attention to detail.
