The Seasonal Park Lunch Attendant supports daily meal service operations for the Summer Park Lunch Program. This position ensures lunches are served while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for all participants.

The attendant helps create a friendly atmosphere that promotes fun, safety, and community engagement throughout the program.

• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries.
• Set up and maintain the lunch service area, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Serve meals in a timely, friendly manner.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor participants during mealtimes, promoting positive behavior and safety.
• High School Diploma or GED with one year of experience as a volunteer or paid leader; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Previous food service or experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive in an outdoor environment.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
