Job Description

Commercial Money Movement Solutions (CMS) division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Business Solutions, Government Solutions and Visa Direct which presents an enormous growth opportunity.

Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi‑Nations and Governments.

We are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Virtual Cards, payables, and acceptance commercial platforms to drive incremental revenue. We develop new offerings/products and enhance existing Visa Business Solutions product lines including commercial data processing and B2B payables platforms.

• Develop user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain server‑side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front‑end.
• Integrate the front‑end elements built by your co‑workers into the application.
• Understand and implement data storage solutions including databases, key‑value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.
• Assist in the development of robust and user‑friendly applications.
• Maintain documentation of the systems and applications developed.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

This is a hybrid position. The expectation of days in office will be confirmed by the hiring manager.

Basic

Qualification:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, or 13+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8‑10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
• Technically capable and a self‑starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Prior experience in a client‑success team solving time‑sensitive issues.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js are also important.
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and No

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git for tracking code changes.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices.
• Background in basic principles of UI/UX design is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and API communications.

• Full‑stack experience with front‑end technologies such as React.js, JavaScript and back‑end technologies and frameworks.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix/Container‑based application servers such as Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes; experience with Kafka is a plus.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of incidents, perform optimizations, and find proactive ways to detect or isolate issues.
• Understanding of complex enterprise‑level systems, integration points, and the software development lifecycle and processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to triage issues promptly and provide precise, timely updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 5‑10% travel.
