Terminal Operator - ATH Dryer

Job Overview:
Terminal Operator – Shift Leadman (ATH Dryer)

The primary duties of employee shall be to safely operate and maintain all related bulk product handling equipment, including but not limited to an industrial dryer and front-end loader. Responsibilities include receiving product, drying product, storing product in a silo and loading arriving rail cars and trucks of bulk material.

Employee will have multiple tasks including but not limited to the following:

• Communication with railroads for spotting cars on track and placing cars into position.
• All aspects of loading rail cars and trucks including venting hatches, inspecting cargo, opening gates, quality control PLC monitoring and progressing cars.
• Operate track mobile rail car handling equipment for industrial switching operations per training.
• Employee shall continuously monitor PLC for proper operation.
• Employees must at all times monitor product for proper moisture content.
• Employee will operate equipment such as front-end loader during outbound shipments.
• Employee will be trained in all aspects of shipping.
• Employee will communicate facility manager with all operational and safety protocol.
• Employee will be responsible for upkeep, minor maintenance and repairs and cleanliness of facility.

• High School Diploma
• Ability to qualify for a US Department of Homeland Security Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card).
• Physically fit (able to climb steps and ladders frequently) and to work in tight spaces
• Experience running heavy equipment (e.g. Front-End Loaders)
• Computer literate – MS Outlook or similar, MS Excel, MS Word
• Highly motivated
• Ability to work at heights above 80 feet
• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with others in a cooperative and professional manner in a dry bulk handling environment.
