Position Overview

As a Capacity Representative, you will play a critical role in connecting freight with carrier capacity while ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

You will build and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate rates, coordinate shipments, and monitor freight from pickup through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and secure carrier capacity for customer freight
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners
  • Negotiate rates and transportation solutions
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on‑time delivery
  • Resolve service issues proactively and efficiently
  • Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize freight movement
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics technology platforms
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational excellence
Qualifications

Required

  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms

Preferred

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
