About the Role As a Sitdown Forklift Operator, you will operate sit-down forklifts to support warehouse and distribution operations, focusing on loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving functions.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and freight.
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and trucks, ensuring cargo security.
• Transport materials across the warehouse and yard.
• Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment counts and inspecting freight.
• Assist with inventory organization, staging outbound freight, and maintaining safety standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
• Help with pallet wrapping, freight securement, and general warehouse support.

Key Requirements

• Experience or ability to operate sit-down forklifts.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
• Good time management skills.
