AG-Route Driver - Class B

As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers. The role involves loading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with customers.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
• Nurture courteous and professional customer relationships
• Support timely deliveries
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; emphasize the physically active and hands‑on nature of the position
• Frequent movement in and out of vehicle

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or ability to obtain within 60 days) and Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance within last 7 years
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment
• Be able to lift 75 lb and move more than 125 lb with material handling equipment
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school completion within last 12 months
