Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, loading, and unloading 53' trailers, flatbeds, and containers, and for preparing materials for shipping.
Requirements- Unload material to warehouse dock
- Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel
- Properly use RF scanners
- Pull material from location for shipping
- Load outbound trucks
- Ability to operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to picker, stand‑up lift, and electric lifts
- Ability to meet on‑time performance metrics
- Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Works to accomplish the Givens mission every day through dedication to the Givens values of integrity, family, drive
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic math skills necessary
- Valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain
