Position: Logistics Specialist 2

Logistics Specialist II

Position to support complex manufacturing and logistics operations across Gulfstream’s distribution center and warehouses.

Hours
  • 2nd Shift: M‑F 2:00 pm–10:30 pm
  • Mid Shift: M‑F 10:00 am–6:30 pm
  • 3rd Shift: M‑TH 10:00 pm–8:30 am
  • 4th Shift: Fri, Sat, Sun 7:00 am–7:30 pm
  • 5th Shift: Fri‑Sun 6:00 pm–6:30 am
  • 4x10:
    Mon‑Thu (10‑hour blocks)
  • 8:00 am–4:30 pm M‑F shifts
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse or distribution center.
  • Proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and distribution centers.
  • Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations.
  • Unload, inspect and document freight.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Corridor).
  • Coordinate material flow to support schedules and customer demands, including AOG and other critical needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality by following established procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Handle, transport and prepare shipment of dangerous goods in accordance with DOT, FAA and other applicable standards.
  • Ensure adherence to brand protection and material handling standards.
  • Communicate discrepancies and follow up with clear actions.
  • Maintain a clean environment.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives.
  • Support inventory accuracy goals through regular and accurate cycle counting.
  • Support inventory control processes using handheld scanners for picking, putaway and cycle count activities.
  • Obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and meet all required training.
  • Support Lean and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in inventory audits.
  • Perform other duties required such as DOT, Hazmat, special offloads, customs and carrier requirements.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain certification to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
  • Able to comply with FAA Regulations and all quality procedures, including documentation.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English required.
