HVAC Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Driver Warehouse Associate to safely and efficiently deliver HVAC products to customers while delivering exceptional service.

The Driver represents Baker Distributing, handling day‑to‑day delivery and supporting warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, collecting invoices, inventory support, and maintaining truck and warehouse safety standards.

• Represent Baker Distributing as a leader in the industry.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking and verifying orders.
• Perform daily truck maintenance checks and report in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to management.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
• Handle and store all products properly to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Follow all guidelines for the safe operation of the truck and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and workspace to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure all loading and unloading activities are carried out safely, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1‑year truck driving experience.
• Box Truck delivery experience.
• A valid Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). certificate is required prior to employment.
• Ability to meet DOT physical qualification standards, with reasonable accommodations.
• CDL license is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift or appliance lift, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills focused on customer service, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest in continuous learning, mentoring, and leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
• Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to develop long‑term relationships.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required only if driving is an essential function of the role.

• Required to move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Visual acuity is required to perform essential job functions such as reading labels, inspecting equipment, monitoring inventory, and operating machinery.
• Required to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
