Directs the dispatch of transportation equipment according to the Linehaul plan;
Coordinates and tracks the processing and movement of Fed Ex trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies in the Fed Ex network;
Enters trip details into an online system (TMS) to ensure on time delivery and pick up of trailers;
Investigates and reports schedule delays, accidents and equipment failures and implements contingency plans which ensure on-time load delivery in the event of an en-route breakdown or accident;
Coordinates with the Safety and Maintenance departments to monitor the monthly tractor safety inspections and ensure annual certificates are obtained in compliance with the DOT
