1st Shift HUB Warehouse Worker Rincon, GA What are we looking for

At Cosentino we are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker located in Rincon, GA
, who will work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

We are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses (Natural Stone Slab Yard), increasing efficiency and improving customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include preparation of merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing and staging finished products for shipping. You will be responsible for effectively distributing Cosentino products.

To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. This position involves interacting with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution teams.

• Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container
• Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane
• Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments
• Repair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipments
• Move waste from containers to dumpsters
• Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damages
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc)
• Previous industry experience
• High School Diploma/GED

SKILLS

• Ability to carry and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $18-21.00/hr.

Factors which may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

Paid time off:
