Warehouse Manager

Duties

• Supervise all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage warehouse distribution operations, coordinating with logistics providers and 3PL partners to meet delivery deadlines.
• Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase productivity across the warehouse.
• Oversee inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) platforms to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff and supervisors to uphold safety standards, including OSHA regulations, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge and forklift certifications to oversee heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently.
• Monitor shipping & receiving procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to quality standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience in warehouse management, including inventory management, distribution logistics, and process optimization.
• Strong leadership skills with proven team management capabilities in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation including forklifts; certified as required by OSHA standards.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues related to heavy lifting or materials handling machinery.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control techniques, and heavy lifting safety protocols.
