Position Subject To Collective Bargaining Agreement

• $17 - $18 per hour, based on experience and in alignment with the United Service workers Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale

Benefits Include

• Vacation:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Clean and sweep the interior of the vehicles
• Sanitize vehicle in accordance with location standards
• Wash vehicle exteriors at bus wash station
• Maintain cleanliness of yard and building
• Assist in snow removal
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work as part of a team
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
