Qualifications
  • Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
  • Must have graduated from an accredited school.
  • Minimum one year’s experience.
  • Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively in process for state licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Other requirements determined by client facility.
Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist/PT is responsible for assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care, determining functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to patient capacity and tolerance under direction of the Physician. The PT must set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

  • Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
