Housekeeper​/Laundry

Location: 227 - Avalon Care Center - Scappoose, OR

Wage: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: PRN

The housekeeper serves residents by maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive community in accordance with all laws, regulations and company standards.

• Clean rooms, offices, and common areas, including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, etc.; ensure residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained attractively and residents’ personal items are safeguarded.
• Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are safe and that procedures regarding cleaners, hazardous materials, or objects are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stored.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation practices and procedures; promptly report any hazardous conditions or equipment.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a health care or hospitality setting preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Must demonstrate trustworthiness and dependability.
• Must work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Must be organized with attention to detail.
