What You'll Do

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of our Scappoose retail location. You'll lead the sales team, manage inventory, drive revenue growth, and create an exceptional customer experience.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, coach, train, and develop retail sales associates
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
  • Empower team members to make sound sales and customer service decisions
  • Conduct product and sales training programs
Sales & Business Growth
  • Lead the team in achieving sales goals and revenue targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans
  • Work directly with customers to negotiate pricing and close deals
  • Increase trailer, parts, and service sales in the local market
  • Analyze sales trends and identify new growth opportunities
Inventory & Operations
  • Manage trailer inventory levels and product availability
  • Order stock and customer-specific trailers from multiple suppliers
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits
  • Ensure trailers are received, stored, and delivered properly
  • Collaborate on trailer displays that maximize customer interest and sales
Customer Experience
  • Deliver and model exceptional customer service
  • Build strong relationships with customers and community partners
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all sales paperwork
  • Educate customers on trailer operation, maintenance, and ownership
Strategic Planning
  • Develop annual budgets and monthly sales targets
  • Monitor key performance metrics and profitability
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Act as the voice of the store and communicate customer and team needs
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Proven leadership or management experience
  • Strong sales and customer service background
  • Experience coaching, training, and developing employees
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and drive results
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in trailer, automotive, truck, heavy equipment, agricultural, industrial, or related industries
  • Experience managing inventory and vendor relationships
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and move trailers as needed
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible schedules
