Seat Production Technician (Full-Time)

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work in a manufacturing environment? A local Scappoose manufacturer is seeking a Seat Production Technician to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy assembly work, working with a variety of materials, and contributing to the production of high-quality seating and aircraft interior components. Successful candidates will work in a team-focused environment dedicated to craftsmanship, quality, and safety.

Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (non-THC)
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, drawings, work orders, and product specifications
  • Ability to use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required throughout the production process
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, upholstery, automotive, aerospace, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
  • Assemble seat components and related products according to engineering specifications and work instructions
  • Gather and organize materials, parts, and hardware required for production
  • Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently
  • Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow established production processes and quality control procedures
  • Maintain accurate production records as required
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report concerns to supervision
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, reaching, and using hands throughout the workday
  • Complete assigned work orders and production tasks on schedule
Schedule
  • Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
  • Monday through Friday
  • Hours to be confirmed by employer
Pay Rate
  • $17.00 per hour
  • Eligible for company benefits upon successful completion of the probationary period and permanent hire. Benefit details will be provided at that time.
