The State of Maine Judicial Branch is seeking a Clerk II (Acting Cap) for the Washington County Courthouse in Machias. This internal position may be filled on an acting-capacity basis for up to nine months and is tied to temporary vacancies within the Clerk’s Office.
The role oversees docketing, case processing, court calendars, and financial handling while supervising staff and maintaining excellent public and judicial relations. An Associate’s Degree and supervisory experience are required.
