Overview
The K‑2 building seeks a flexible, organized, student‑centered and collaborative Ed Tech III to support teaching and learning, supervise students during transitions and breaks, and provide substitute classroom and office coverage as needed.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with grade level teaching teams to implement plans for supporting teaching and learning.
- Assist in acclimating students to school routines and support their academic, social, and emotional engagement in school activities.
- Assist with the supervision of students during meal and recess times, emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
- Provide transition support (academic and behavioral) for students.
- Provide coverage for classrooms and the office on a substitute basis.
- Maintain Safety Care certification.
- Current fingerprinting (CHRC) and Maine Department of Education Ed Tech III Certification.
- Compliance with Maine State law requiring all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check.
