K-2 Music Teacher (0.6) 2026-27
Position available August 2026.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, flexible and student centered part‑time K–2 Music Educator to join our Eight Corners School team. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music through engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that encourage singing, movement, rhythm, and musical exploration.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver music instruction for students in kindergarten through second grade.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Work full days Wednesday to Friday.
- MDOE K-2 Visual & Performing Arts - Music Certification (614).
- Valid Maine Music Educator Certificate (614).
- Experience working with primary-age children (preferred).
- Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC); a copy of the CHRC must be uploaded with the application.
