Description:Eight Corners School is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, flexible, and student-centered Part-Time K-2 Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of art through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that encourages creativity, self-expression, artistic exploration, and problem-solving while fostering a joyful and inclusive learning environment.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include planning and delivering standards-based visual arts instruction for students in kindergarten through second grade, creating positive classroom routines, differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, and collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, and other staff to support student success. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with students and contribute positively to our school community.
This position requires flexibility, as instructional space is shared.
Qualifications- Maine DOE Teacher Certification with a 620 endorsement
- K-5 Teaching Experience Preferred
