Overview
Building Automation (BAS) Controls Programmer to join a client team. Role involves programming, configuring, and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) to deliver energy-efficient and reliable building performance across Maine and New Hampshire.
Locations:
Portland, ME / Dover, NH / Vermont, NH
Pay Rate:
Up to $40 per hour
Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

This role will involve programming, configuring, and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) to deliver energy-efficient and reliable building performance across Maine and New Hampshire.
Responsibilities- Program, configure, and troubleshoot BAS systems (HVAC, lighting, and energy management).
- Support system installation, integration, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure project success.
- Perform on-site system diagnostics and provide technical support to clients.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records.
- Proven BAS programming experience (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar platforms preferred).
- Experience / certification with Tridium Niagara
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and energy management principles.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and sequences of operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
