Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Maine Health
Location: Various Maine Health locations across Maine and New Hampshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem Opportunities Available

Maine Health is seeking compassionate, skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing care teams. Whether you’re early in your EMS career or bringing years of experience, you’ll find meaningful work, supportive colleagues, and opportunities to grow within one of Northern New England’s largest integrated health systems. As an EMT with Maine Health, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during emergencies and interfacility transport situations.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency medical care and transport
  • Respond to 911 calls and scheduled transports as assigned
  • Perform patient assessments and administer basic life support (BLS) interventions
  • Collaborate with paramedics, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation
  • Ensure vehicle readiness, equipment safety, and compliance with all protocols
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Completion of EMT-basic course required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    Current applicable state(s) EMT-Basic license required. Valid Driver’s License required. Current BLS Certification required.
  • Experience:

    N/A
