Development Scientist

Overview

BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Development Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Maine. Join our team: advancing health, together.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Antibody development, purification, assessment, and cell culture.
• Complete Laboratory work to BBI quality and health and safety requirements.
• Accurate completion of planned laboratory work.
• Document work through service and work order batch records, or project plans to QMS requirements.
• Complete time tracking accurately and in timely fashion.
• General laboratory duties including support and maintenance of equipment.
• Preparation of project reports and completion of any required customer communication for review as required.
• Escalate general laboratory and service specific concerns to the Technical Lead, Lab Manager or Project Manager as appropriate.
• This is a non-exhaustive list; other duties are required from time to time in line with the Development Scientist remit.
