Skills:
Proficiency in Software Development, Programming, and Integration to build and maintain advanced Service Now solutions. Strong Analytical Skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and optimize system performance. Excellent Customer Service skills to effectively support users and communicate with stakeholders. Ability to collaborate in hybrid work environments and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience with Service Now implementation or related IT service management systems is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience as a Service Now Developer in designing and implementing enterprise workflows, ITSM solutions, and custom applications on the Service Now platform.
- Good experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using methodologies like Agile and Test-Driven Development.
- Expertise in Service Now modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.
- Experienced in developing and customizing Service Now applications using Scoped Applications, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Experience in building Service Now integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub for connecting with external systems.
- Expertise in creating and managing Service Portals, including widgets, themes, and Angular
JS-based customizations. - Skilled in configuring and managing Service Now Orchestration for automating workflows across systems.
- Well-versed in Service Now scripting using JavaScript, Glide API, and server/client-side scripting for business logic implementation.
- Expertise in implementing Service Now Security including ACLs, Roles, and Data Policies.
- Experience with Service Now Reporting and Performance Analytics, including dashboards and KPIs.
- Knowledge of Service Now CMDB architecture, discovery, and dependency mapping.
- Experience with Service Now upgrades, cloning, and instance management.
- Familiarity with Service Now Store apps and custom app development.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies and hosting Service Now in SaaS environments.
- Experience with Service Now Automated Test Framework (ATF) for regression and functional testing.
- Knowledge of Service Now Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Service Now Source Control.
- Experience with Service Now integrations with third-party tools like Azure, AWS, and monitoring platforms.
- Skilled in Service Now Performance tuning and troubleshooting for optimal instance health.
- Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Client facing experience is required
- Team leader capability is required
- Stakeholder management exposure is good to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of relevant Service Now development experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Service Now modules and development tools as listed above.
