Position Summary

Responsible for supporting development, implementation and maintenance of defined applications in support of Distribution and Transportation systems. Act as subject matter expert of the defined applications with an intricate understanding of how the applications operate. Collaborates with IT as well as Regional and Campus leaders in Supply Chain Operations to identify, maintain, test, and implement systems for future development. Initiates projects to improve Supply Chain performance, KPIs and drive financial efficiencies.

Creates, maintains, and supports global views for all users of the defined applications, including Distribution Leadership and Reporting Users, and optimizes and configures such views and workflows as necessary.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across departments to meet defined applications performance and optimization goals, which may include, but are not limited to:
• WMS, Cams, Sam Sara, Viomode, EAM, TMT, Fuelmaster, PTL, Boss, Vocollect, JDA, Manhattan
• Support Systems interface for Distribution and Transportation for all IT collaboration efforts relating to defined applications as well as the design and build out of planning and solutions
• Partner with IT, Logistics and Supply Chain Senior Operational Leadership to ensure defined applications key performance indicators are developed, analyzed and effectively reported.
• Support best practices on compliance of standards for Distribution and Transportation systems across the ADUSA distribution network. Develop, maintain and evolve compliance programs to ensure consistent application of standard operating procedures, for defined applications.
• Responsible for the creation, maintenance and evolution of training programs for all defined applications and applicable users.
• Provide insights and recommendations for future systems and tools that will be used across network and improve performance and stability
• Serve as the defined applications expert internally and externally on Distribution and Transportation principles.
• Provide leadership that will motivate employees and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.
• Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture
• Create new methods and procedures based on industry best practices, trends and best in class external benchmarking.

• Detailed understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
• Advanced understanding of large-scale grocery transportation industry best practices and metrics
• Advanced knowledge of current ADUSA systems
• Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain systems industries and major vendors in various operational areas

• Excellent organizational, planning, influence, communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and persuasive in presenting and selling ideas and executing their implementation

• Ability to manage day to day activity in support of identified business area and functional area strategies
• Ability to influence organizational alignment across multiple business areas

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

• 4+ years supply chain experience
• IT/Systems experience preferred
