Overview

ADUSA Procurement is a partner company to Ahold Delhaize USA providing supply chain services that support delivery of products from supplier to warehouse. This role focuses on ensuring operational service levels at retail, managing inventory, and serving as the primary interface with vendor supply chain partners.

• Manage all Relex daily, weekly, and monthly workflows to achieve operational service level targets.
• Monitor and ensure timely execution of all planned product allocations.
• Analyze system exceptions to determine root causes.
• Manage inventory to meet days of supply (DOS), obsolete, and product freshness targets.
• Execute and monitor purchase orders, ensuring on‑time and in‑full metrics.
• Consult with the Advantage team and Demand Systems Specialists on vendor efficiency programs, ensuring operational adherence.
• Develop a plan to address overstocks and left‑over sale excess inventory in collaboration with the Merchandising group.
• Work with suppliers, Quality Control, Supply Chain operations, store divisional operations, and Risk Management to address product availability, freshness, transition issues, recalls, and market withdrawals.
• Stay informed on commodity or other supplier issues that impact category sales, anticipating and acting on supplier issues, seasonal changes, natural disasters, crop conditions, and manufacturing issues to maintain efficient order quantities.
• Provide timely communication to supervisors regarding inventory transactions, issue resolution, and short‑term out‑of‑stocks.
• Collaborate with Forecast Analysts to explain and identify forecast variance and provide additional information on marketing strategies, special promotions, and anticipated sales influences not captured by system‑driven exception analysis.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the business and ADUSA values.

• Knowledge of demand‑management practices, Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), supply‑chain processes, and Relex (preferred).
• Skills:
  
  oral and written communication, basic to intermediate Excel, presentation, inventory‑management best practices, attention to detail, store operations (preferred), and teamwork.
• Abilities: strong mathematical and statistical aptitude, ability to analyze large data sets and complex problems, determine root causes and implement solutions, strong critical thinking, autonomous decision‑making, customer focus, and initiative.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related business field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience:
  
  0‑3 years in a similar role.

Location:

3 in‑person days at a core office (Scarborough, ME) and 2 remote days. Core office options include Salisbury, NC;
Chicago, IL;
Quincy, MA;
Carlisle, PA;
Hyattsville, MD; and Mauldin, SC.
• Salary Range: $63,440–$95,160.
