Chemist

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the production schedule to meet manufacturing requirements
• Investigate process issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Perform in-process quality control testing, including qualifications, inspections, and titrations
• Manufacture critical and non-critical bioreagents using approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Follow established protocols focused on product and process improvement
• Maintain compliance with GMP and GLP quality systems
• Observe proper safety procedures while performing laboratory and manufacturing tasks
• Coordinate with team members to ensure uninterrupted raw bioreagent supply
• Participate in team-based manufacturing operations within a regulated environment

• Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with wet bench laboratory techniques and analytical concepts

• Experience working in laminar flow hoods
• Use of laboratory measurement tools including pH meters, analytical balances, serological pipettes, and graduated cylinders
• Experience with titrations and routine laboratory testing
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with moderate supervision
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, manufacturing systems, and word processing software
• Ability to work in a cold room environment (2–8°C) for extended periods (4–6 hours or more, as required by manufacturing needs)
