We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our vascular surgery ambulatory practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in wound care or someone interested in developing skills in this area. The nurse will provide hands‑on patient care, assist with rooming patients, provide wound care services, perform telephone triage, and act as circulator and sterile scrub in our procedure room as part of a collaborative clinical team.
This position offers a full‑time schedule during daytime clinical office hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on‑call responsibilities. The schedule may be either four days (36 hours) or five days (40 hours) per week.
This is an on‑site role in Scarborough. Preferred is a candidate who can also cover if needed in our Lewiston location.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. BLS certification is not required for positions that are 100% remote.
One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
