An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in operating room nursing to contribute their expertise in a dynamic Level One Trauma Center. This role focuses on gynecology and genitourinary surgeries and involves working with advanced equipment and a diverse patient population, including pediatrics through geriatrics.

Key Schedule Details:
  • 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shifts (days)
  • 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend rotation: one out of every four weekends
  • Call requirement: one overnight (11:00 p.m.

    - 7:00 a.m.) for trauma; specialty teams may have additional call per team structure
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma center experience (3 years preferred)
  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced surgical procedures, including but not limited to robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
  • Comfortable working with pediatric through geriatric patients
  • CNOR certification highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and surgical equipment (Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative nursing care in a 26-bed operating department with 1:1 patient assignment
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
  • Practice flexibility, accountability, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to hospital dress code: teal scrubs provided and issued on-site
Preferred Experience Includes:
  • Skills in general, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures
