Key

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Maine
• Previous experience as a school nurse or clinical RN (pediatric background is a plus)
• Strong assessment and communication abilities
• Comfort with providing daily care, medication administration, and emergency response
• Ability to care for students with chronic health needs or acute illness
• CPR/BLS certified

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering daily nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Administering medications, monitoring chronic conditions, and responding to health emergencies
• Developing and implementing individualized health plans
• Maintaining accurate and confidential health records
• Serving as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
• Communicating effectively with families, educators, and healthcare providers
